Welcome back to the madness, Josh: “Restricted free agent Josh Childress met with Milwaukee Bucks officials on Thursday for a getting-to-know-you session. Childress and agent Jim Tanner were in Milwaukee for discussions with Bucks general manager John Hammond and other team officials. Childress played last season with Olympiakos in Greece and has until July 15 to decide if he wants to opt out and return to the National Basketball Association. The Atlanta Hawks still hold his league rights and could match any offer made by another team.”

Ben Gordon and Charlie Villanueva Is the Best Detroit Could Do?
Not too long ago I was praising Joe Dumars for recognizing his team wasn’t good enough to beat the elite teams in the East and that he needed to change it up. What I didn’t envision was him using the available cash he freed up under the salary cap to spend on Ben Gordon [...]
Greasy Fun Fact
From Kevin Pelton's breakdown of free agent shooting guards at Basketball Prospectus: Believe it or not, there is actually a fascinating statistic featuring Mario West.
