Some analyst say that he is the most athletic player in the NBA. Some say he is to small to be a PF. But at 6'9" he is an inch taller than Elton Brand with a wingspan that is equally as long . According to reports coming from a NBA source, free agent center Elton Brand has reached an agreement with the Philadelphia 76'ers. Although this is still in the verbal stages, it is rumored that Brand's new deal is in the 5 year $80 million range.

The Philadelphia 76er's have signed PF Elton Brand to a 5 year $82 million contract. This is very bad news for the Knicks, this pretty much makes the Sixers a sure thing to make the playoffs in the weak Eastern Conference. The Sixers could have been one of the teams that the Knicks could have beaten during the season, but adding Elton Brand makes things that much more difficult...

The Sixers traded Rodney Carney, a future No. 1 pick, and Calvin Booth to the Minnesota Timberwolves Monday. The Sixers clear up some much needed cap space, giving them about $14 million to pursue a top flight free agent. It is not clear yet what the Sixers will get in return.
