Here are some thoughts on both sides of the KG to Boston trade. We post the latest news on trade talks and pros and cons of the trade.
6 Comments:
  • Al Jefferson isn't going to be the next Kevin Garnett, Danny has made a commitment to win now and if they can get KG that will make them a better team. Gerald has a lot of upside but will never be more than a role player or 6th man of the bench. I think the Celtics need to pull the trigger on this deal.
  • I love the deal from the Celtics side. As a 76er fan it actually depresses me. Boston becomes an instant playoff and Finals contender. Not sure why the Wolves would want to do this deal however? I guess they're ready to rebuild for the next 7 years??
  • yea right that's never gonna happen. KG a.k.a one of the biggest stars in Minnesota sports history for jefferson who hasn't proven to be much of a factor in the NBA yet, Aging Theo Ratliff who only averaged 2 points and had a contract of 11,000,000 dollars last year, and Rondo who only averaged 6.4 points per game last year!

    Think about it
  • HE IS NOT GONNA BE HAPPY THERE! He will not see any Hardwood in June unless he's shooting around in the comforts of his own gym. I know that there ARE teams who will pick up him and his contract! At 31, he needs to be with a VALID CONTENDER! Preferably staying in the Western Conference! As far as Al Jefferson, he's still young! and plenty of time to develop with the right squad. Because it's obviously not with Boston.
  • Do you think Minnesota would trade Garnett to a team in the western confrence?I think hell no.
  • MN didn't really care who took KG, they were searching for a large enough pool of young talent. Getting rid of KG = rebuilding process no matter who they get in return.
