The Boston Celtics are one of the few teams with the right pieces to get a deal done. It could happen, but it might take a lot: For Kobe Bryant to come to Boston, it most certainly would require giving up the #5 pick. The second ...

Kobe Bryant Drama
As I'm sure many of you have heard, unless you have been living under a rock, that Kobe Bryant demanded to be traded, then said he didnt want to, then said he did again, then didnt. Myself being from LA and a Laker fan have been holding my breath every time Kobe makes a move. It was silent on the front for a while, until a couple of days ago it was reported that Kobe had met...
Kobe Bryant's Gift to the Lakers
To borrow an ugly phrase used mostly in the 2004 presidential election, Kobe Bryant is a flip-flopper. It now appears that every 15 minutes Kobe wants to either stay with the Lakers or be traded. Current news reports now reflect him wanting to be traded once again. There can be no sweeter news heard by the man who is now and apparently has been for the last few years running the...
On the Leon Powe Bandwagon

Patience is a Virtue
In this era of 10 minute oil changes, 1 hour photo developing, and instant everything, we tend to get impatient with anything that takes awhile. This includes basketball. Where in most cases a little impatience won't change much, in basketball impatience can be the difference between continual mediocrity and building a contender.
An Inexact Science
Proof that all of the Mock Drafts are an inexact science to say the least.
A Hole Waiting to be Filled
In 1986 the Celtics were on top of the NBA world. They were World Champions and were picking second in the draft. But 48 hours after the draft it all came crashing down. The death of Len Bias left a hole that is still waiting to be filled.

Just Who is the Brain Doctor Anyway?
There have been countless jokes made about Danny Ainge's reliance on the brain doctor and his name always comes up when discussions turn to draft picks or trades. But just who is this guy and what exactly is Brain Typing?
Youth versus Inexperience
Youth and inexperience have been used as excuses for losing in the past. The Celtics may still be young, but they are no longer inexperienced.
The Weakest Link
The Celtics have a core group of talented players who have been in the league for several years now. Youth and inexperience is no longer an excuse. The weakest link for this team is the coaching and Doc has run out of excuses.

Al Jefferson and Andrew Bynum matching up against Greg Oden and LaMarcus Aldridge in a couple of years would be an awesome sight.
I tell you what you would have to put Kobe on a team like Chicago, S.A, or a team where Kobe would realize that he's not the only player who wants to contribute. Kobe will someday have to realize that he's not Jordan and if he went to Boston, Pierce is not Pippen. Boston needs a lot more help than a Kobe Bryant to win a championship.
I totally agree with dacelts34. I'll be honest, I have never been much of a Celtics fan, but I have grown to admire and respect the hell out of that franchise. To bring a 'DONK' like Kobe into the mix would make me sick.
