Kobe Is Not Going Anywhere

OK, so now we're on the third version of Kobe Bryant's frustration with the Lakers front office. Arguably the best player of his generation has gone from demanding a trade, to wanting to be a Laker for life, to wanting to be traded again. This past weekend Bryant met with Lakers owner Jerry Buss in Spain and reiterated that he would like to play elsewhere next year.

I'm just going to say what we all already know: Kobe Bryant is will not be playing anywhere else next season. The Lakers will not move him, and the only chance he goes elsewhere is if he opts out of his contract after the 2008-09 season. The problem for teams (and fans) who are convinced the Lakers would move Bryant for the right price, is that they can't possibly get equal value in return for one of the games most recognizable stars (unless they got Dwayne Wade or LeBron James, which won't happen). It would be franchise suicide. Plus, do you really think Mitch Kupchak wants to be known as the guy who traded Shaq and Kobe?

Kobe is losing credibility here by flip flopping so much, looks like he's been hanging out with John Kerry

Like i said in my previous comment on the last blog, it's time to part ways. if he wants a couple more rings, go to da mid west young KOB! SAN ANTONIO! Granted there is a lot of $ on that contract but hey, it's KOBE F. BRYANT! LOL!

Kobe's just using these trade demands as a ploy. Whenever the Laker front office stalls on acquiring legitimate talent to improve this team he reiterates these trade demands to force management into action. If you ask me, smart move Kobe.

Kobe isn't going to leave...I agree, this is a ploy for more attention/money/respect and he doesn't think he is getting enough. He is still disappointed from last season and has to put his two-sense as to why they flopped. Let it go Kobe, we all know you are going to stay.

As long as Kobe is wearing a Lakers jersey, the organization will not have enough to support a run at the championship. In order for the Lakers to grow and improve, they have to trade for 2 young studs and grow it like that. Now, for Kobe to win a championship, he must demand a trade.

It's a win-win in terms of their success in the standings. Still though, the Kobe is worth more to the Lakers than 10 more wins a season would be and that's why they won't get rid of him.

ne one have the website were i can see him critizing the laker's gm about not trading bynum for J.Kidd?

The L.A. Lakers are not going to trade one of the 2 (LeBron James) most explosive dunkadelic-swing players in the world today. There is no compensation for the Lakers unless they trade Kobe for LeBron period. Nuff Said.
