So the Sonics pick up Kurt Thomas from the Suns after signing PJ Carlesimo as coach...What a great move. They get the veteran leadership top "Tutor" Kevin Durant and Jeff Green? Are you kidding me?
Let's see Kurt Thomas is a scoring and rebounding machine right? Not quite. Over the last 2 years he has averaged 6.4 points per game and 6.6 rebounds. Great mentoring numbers huh..I'm sure that's just the kind of stats they want out of Durant and Green!
And at what price did they get this great product: $8.1 million for one year plus there $8 million cap exception. So in reality $16.1 million.
I think that is a crazy price to pay for a one year tutoring session from someone averaging less that 7 and 7 over the last two years!
