Lakers/Nuggets game two preview
Basketball's brightest stars will be on display Wednesday night at the Staples Center where the Lakers face the Denver Nuggets in game two of their Western Conference battle. Future Hall of Famers, Kobe Bryant and Allen Iverson square of in another epic battle of offensive basketball at it's finest. In the last game, the Lakers took a 1-0 series lead with a 128-114 victory which saw four players put up thirty points or more (Bryant, Gasol, Iverson, and Anthony). Both teams were talking defense during the off days, but another offensive clinic wouldn't surprise me in the least.
Whenever a team surpasses thirty assists in a game, something special is happening on the hardwood. Add to that shooting percentages of 50% from the floor, 45% from threes and 84% from the line and you can understand why the Lakers are extremely hard to beat.
