When Kobe won the MVP, I was one of a few to suggest Chris Paul should have received the award. Watching Kobe dismantle the Spurs, I have finally come around everyone. Paul is great, but no one takes over a game like Kobe. Maybe it was the antics of Kobe (the insistance on dismantling the Shaq duo, the jump over the Massoroti, the jump over the pool of snakes)- I just never have...

Game 6 in Detroit, and nobody expected the Celtics to win, at least not me. But hey, it was time for the real Boston Celtics to show up in these playoffs . . . on the road . . . and finally get it done in the 4th quarter. Celtics defeated the Pistons winning 89-81 going away after coming back from a 10 point deficit early in the 4th.

My heartfelt thanks and gratitude go out to you, Bennett Salvatore. It was you, and your atrocious phantom call against Paul Pierce, that may have lifted a "sense of entitlement" that the Celtics could have been carrying with them throughout the playoffs. Yes, it could have been called a travel (though plays like that are never called that way), but an offensive foul? Fortunately...
