In a game that reminded all of us why we fell in love with the Celtics long ago, Boston vanquished Cleveland from the Garden floor 76-72. Our Sensei beasted brightly, leading the charge of the Celtics Stoic defense with an impressive 12 rebounds and a solid 7 pts from the floor. No, Ray did not have his C game tonight. No, the truth was koan-ed by the inept officiating. This was fine. Rondo had 15pts and 5 assists and with every game emerges as Danny Ainge's smartest move so far. KG went for 28 and 8 and Sam, for whom we will soon be forming a club, played the Tiny Archibald role with 13 off the bench. The King Lebron flopped more like the Emperor in his New Clothes - his game was that exposed. It was hurly burly for sure, but in the end, like so many anointed stars, BronBron couldn't deliver.
