Great move D'Antoni, it'll take you 3 years to get 5 decent players that fit your scheme in NY.

You could have came to Chicago where the personnel fits your scheme better than 2/3's of the teams in the league, won at least 45 games in your first year, and probably get a bigger contract in a couple years because you proved yourself again.

But now, you just picked the place you are most likely to fail in the entire NBA.

Congratulations.

Hard to pass up , what was it, 24Million for 4 years? That's a lot of dough.

Yeah, it was 4 years, $24 million. I wonder if D'Antoni lasts more than a year or two in NY, though.

With that much money, I don't think he's too worried about it. He'll just walk off with several million in his pocket if they don't win.

$24 million, hunh. When you sell your soul to the devil, eventually he will come to collect. Good luck, D'Antoni. We all know you would have been better off in Chicago.

way to go, knicks. when throwin money at a situation doesnt work, just keep doing it. in addition to all the drama of the past season, they now get to see their team fail under a head coach who doesnt know how to teach defense, develop a bench, and has the biggest gimmick of a system in the nba

hmm this looks exactly like the Larry Brown signing a few years ago.
