THE 'BURBS - ESPN analyst Jon Barry was asked about the Pacers during the network's conference call Wednesday. Barry, who spent 14 seasons in the NBA, said the Pacers are an "intriguing" team, but just like other people I've talked to, he believers they are missing a complimentary player to go with All-Star Danny Granger. "I think Granger is an All-Star player, but he has to have a No. 2 guy," Barry said. "I don't know who that guy is going to be on a nightly basis. You have to have that second guy on a nightly basis and I just don't see that they have that guy that can be consistent for them." The player the Pacers need is Mike Dunleavy. They need the same Dunleavy that averaged 19 points a game two seasons ago. The problem is nobody knows when Dunleavy will play a regular-season game.
