Chris Webber's Barbershop Nike Commercial
To celebrate his impending return to Oaktown, I pulled out the old Nike commercial where Webber and Sprewell joke about Webber's dunk on Sir Charles. Great stuff and welcome back to Cali, Chris. I hope you and Nellie get along now.
Chris Webber is a Warrior
In a move that has been rumored for days, the Golden State Warriors signed former Sixer Chris Webber. Philly fans are still pissed at Webber after the way he dogged it in his last season with the Sixers and some how magically became effective again when he signed on with the Pistons.
Webber to the Warriors? Matt Barnes approves.
In a bizarre week of Seinfeldian symmetry, I ran into Matt Barnes at the Adidas Heritage store in Berkeley yesterday. Not one to shy from an improptu interview opportunity, I went up and introduced myself. I had to try and find out something about the Webber to the Warriors rumor. The conversation went about like this.
Make the jump to see what Matt Barnes had to say.
Crushing the glass: Andris Biedrins
Marcus Camby, Dwight Howard, Chris Kaman and Tyson Chandler all have multiple games this year with 20-plus boards. But none of them (no one in the NBA, actually) can match the 26 rebounds that Golden State's Andris Biedrins pulled down on Sunday during a 106-104 victory over the Knicks. AB's career-high before the Knicks game was 18 rebounds, which he'd accomplished four times previously...
Will Pietrus Be Traded?
I've heard from a lot of people that Mickael Pietrus might be traded. I really hope that doesnt happen because he's such an amazing player. Pietrus has been with the warriors the longest out of anyone on the team. He is the epitome of "Nellieball". Pietrus completely represents the warriors style of play, which is being very fast and having strong defense. There are rumors that the...
Can Webber provide some stability to the Warriors?
Webber could be a piece to the puzzle that the Warriors were really missing. Because Webber can definitely knock down some shots when the game's pace slows down and the team's 3's aren't rattling in... He can also find some open teammates and get them some good shot oppurtunities... Hopefully he fits in well with his new but sorta old team and they make the playoffs in an extremely...

Dubs get past Knicks, await Webber
The Warriors did not play a pretty game against the Knicks but they survived 106-104. Andris Biedrins grabbed 26 boards and Stephen Jackson hit four big fourth quarter threes. Warrior fans also received word that their squad will likely soon be getting former all-star power forward and franchise ruiner Chris Webber.
