AOL Fanhouse reported that Marc Stein of ESPN (yes, I know, BOOOOOOO!) asked Antoine about the campaign. Walker had this to say:

A recent ESPN Page 2 article asked users to vote for the event they would rather see happen - the Steelers beating the Patriots, Johan Santana being traded to any team but the Red Sox, or Garnett blowing out his knee. Garnett's reaction? "

For the first half of last night's game, this game plan was pretty effective for the Bulls. Ben Gordon was having his way with the C's defense, and they went to the lockerroom down by 4, 47-43. But, like many times before, the C's made their half-time adjustments and shut down the Bulls offense in the second half - Gordon, for example, missed all 10 of his second half...

We aren't getting enough respect for what we're doing. Do you realize that the Celtics will finish the first quarter of the season, at the very worst, 17-3. In fact the Celtics need only to play just three games above .500 the rest of the way out to end up with a 60-win season. Sixty wins!
And all ESPN can do is drool over Dwight Howard's pectoral muscles. C'mon people.

I remember the 86 playoff series with a balanced Celtics team winning out over the heroics of a young Michael Jordan. It sure feels good to have that kind of excitement back in Boston.

Is this a strange game or what? During the course of an 82-game season every now and then a 2-15 team happens to beat a 16-3 opponents. That's what happened last Saturday night at the Target Center in Minneapolis as the Timberwolves beat the Suns 100-93.
