Nuggets Stunned in Loss to Kings 118-115

Even though Melo dropped 47 points, 21 in the 4th quarter, that couldn't stop the Kings, playing without 3 starters and their top scorer playing sick, from feeling a mile high after holding off Denver for their 36th win. The Nuggets could lose the 8 spot if the Warriors win today.

Melo boxes out Mikki Moore and Kevin Martin in a losing effort to the Kings. He scored 21 of his 47 points in the 4th quarter, 2 behind his career high....

DAMN! Kings taking care of biz for their homies in the bay!!
We needed that one!

Typical Nuggets BS. They threw up 31 3pt'ers but only made 26% of them. NICE. That's how to make the playoffs...

I'd rather beat Golden State next week. But its always fun watching teams take the Kings lightly.
Do they not know that we've beaten every good team in the league this year?

Somebody's gotta represent Nor Cal. I'd hate to see no teams from Nor Cal in the playoffs.
Last year, the Kings beat the Clippers and eliminated them from the playoffs. Right now they've labled themselves as spoilers. First Houston, then Denver, and hopefully the Lakers today.

Nuggets need to learn how to play better defense. You can score all you want in the 4th quarter, but you need to stop the other team if you wanna win, especially a come from behind victory. They will have a really hard time beating any one in the playoffs, and they might not even get in!

Here here. I think missing the playoffs will be the best thing that ever happened to the Nuggets. I think the disappointment will be tremendous, but that's what it will take to wake up everyone up to this reality - YOU CAN'T BE AN ELITE TEAM IF YOU DON'T DEVELOP GOOD DEFENSIVE HABITS. The Nuggets are capable of playing good defense, but only for a quarter or two at a time. Watch the Spurs, Pistons, and Celtics play a game and you'll see teams that are always challenging shooters, never taking plays off, and getting aggressive defensively.
