Lakers Center Pau Gasol rolled his left ankle at the 9:45 mark of the first quarter of the Lakers-Hornets game. He was immediately taken to the locker room.

Gasol has a sprained left ankle and he will not return tonight. X-rays are pending.

Pau Gasol will miss at least the next three games for the Lakers with a sprained left ankle. According to the AFP: "Lakers coach Phil Jackson sounded an ominous note by saying after Friday's game that "I would be ecstatic if he only missed the next three (games)."

How do you game plan for a team that has won 21 straight games? After a little analysis, here's what I would do to extinguish the Rockets red glare.
Number one, I would attack them by attacking their leader, Tracy McGrady, both offensively and defensively. He will probably guard Kobe, so running Kobe from side to side in Rip Hamilton fashion should help wear McGrady out...

On Wednesday, at the Lakers last practice before they hit the road to New Orleans, there was a rather large young man on one side of the practice court dribbling a basketball.
