Now that the Lakers have made the Finals, a number of Kobe Believers are stepping forward and saying that he's the one responsible for the turnaround. Hoopsworld's Bill Ingram is apparently one of these Believers. A good portion of my latest column was dedicated to debunking this theory.

Adidas and the Boston Celtics announced that they will be launching a rare version of Garnett's 2008-09 adidas Team Signature Commander shoe. These sneakers weren't suppose to released until October of this year, but they will release a special Finals version limited to eight per game (32 to 56 pairs in circulation depending on the length of the series).
