Detroit has had their way with the Eastern Conference for a few years now. They never had the heart or willpower to be truly dominant like they should've been. Now, they no longer sit atop the perch alone and they're handling it like a group of 12 year olds who have to share a bathroom with their little brother....

C'mon now... how come when Magic Johnson treated every win like it won the Lakers the championship we say it's great he cares so much... but when the Celtics do we attack them? The media tore them down after the last Pistons game and they got their revenge. Let them be happy -- and if the Pistons don't like it they need to take care of it on the court.

Day to Day
As many of you all know, I pulled my hamstring in the Utah game while we were on the West Coast. It's doing ok now, but some days it still hurts a little. I've been getting treatment on it every day..sometimes twice a day. It's getting better, so I've been able to play.
We just came off of a W against Detroit...I'm soo glad about that. It was a good game...
NBA: Celtics beat Pistons in best of NBA battle
The Boston Celtics (29-3) and the Detroit Pistons (26-8) have the best and second best record in the NBA. Yup, that is right - the two top teams in the NBA play in the Eastern Conference, not the Western Conference. These top 2 teams played last night in what will probably be a preview of the Eastern Conference Finals game.
Random Thoughts
Some random thoughts on Big Baby, Paul Pierce, a possible trade we could make, and thoughts on the month ahead.
Oh Baby, Sweet Revenge
This was a very important game for the Celtics and it lived up to all the hype with 12 lead changes and 16 ties. There were 6 technicals called and blood drawn as Rondo received a cut over his eye early in the first quarter. This was a big game historically speaking as well. There have only been two regular season games since the 1954-55 season when the shot clock was adopted where...
Let's get one thing straight. It's not about making history
First things first, we're 29-3 and you're not. Lest you forget my friends. Secondly, that record puts us on pace for more than 70-wins, which is nice. However, there are a few things developing, mostly as a result of that gaudy record, that I find particularly annoying. The first is the perception amongst some fans (Detroit and otherwise) that somehow Boston Celtics fans...
Celtics show Detroit how to close out a game.
This message is Kelly Dwyer approved.
Let's get one thing straight. This shit is personal. I hate the Pistons. I hate their arena. I hate their PA announcer. I hate their big gums and no cajones center Rasheed Wallace and I hate their fans. I hate them with a passion that massages me to sleep every night. Needless to say I am pleased with the results of last night's blood feud.
Perkisaflashback: The 18-game losing streak
We've had a lot of absurd posts. But this one takes the cake. The back story is that for the entire 18 game losing streak last year two of the crack staff's finest kept a running text message chat about the games, the state of the world and the sad state of the Celtics. The result was this post titled, "One True Tank." We thought we were changing journalism, we...
The Perfect Mix
When Danny overhauled the Celtics this summer he found the perfect mix. The players complement each other with their talents, their work ethics, and their personalities. And the perfect mix has made for one of the best starts in Celtics history.
Ray and Big Baby Sit Out Practice
Ray Allen sat out practice with a pinched nerve in his neck and is doubtful for the game against the Bobcats. Tony Allen should get the start if he can't play.
Big Baby also sat out practice with a sore knee that he injured in the Pistons game. He is probable for the Charlotte game.
