THE `BURBS - Don't tell Pacers coach Jim O'Brien summer league games are meaningless. O'Brien is going from having his legs stretched out in the stands next to team president Larry Bird to being on the sidelines yelling out plays. O'Brien will coach the Pacers summer league team in Orlando next week. It's not common for head coaches to coach summer league. That honor usually goes to assistant coaches. O'Brien is doing it because Tyler Hansbrough, Brandon Rush, Roy Hibbert, Josh McRoberts and A.J. Price are on the roster. "This is an important 10-day period of time for the growth of our young players and because the other guys that we have around them are competing for jobs and we have potentially jobs available," O'Brien said. "We need to take every opportunity to grow the guys we know are going to be in our uniform so this is a great period of time, a 10-day window where you can be with them.
