TEAMS: Boston Celtics
PLAYERS: Eddie House
Let me first say I respect Eddie House for keeping his cool. It is the playoffs and he is very important to the success of the Boston Celtics so retaliation would have been the wrong move. Now that I got that BS out of the way: COME ON MAN!!!!!!!

rafer's a little punk. walk away and watch him get suspended and eff his team up. remember when he got tangled up with rondo 15 seconds into the houston/boston game last year?

    better for the celtics tho

I know its The Playoffs but there's is no need to be acting a fool...Eddie knows how to control himself...and if Rafer was really mad, he should of just played better not dirty...Go C's...

Alston was an idiot for downright slapping him. I wouldn't blame him if he shoved House a little bit, for that shoulder push he did on Alston. No reason to slap him. Props to House for not doing anything else, definitely fine Alston. However, on the other side of the coin, if Boston fans, players or coaches start screaming for his suspension that's wrong. Boston gets mad favoritism from the officials/tv announcers/etc, all that Rondo stuff last series pissed me off. If the Celts keep playing victim, I hope they lose.

Rafer has a long record of slashing. I'd just let him be and hopefully he'll be on the wrong end of it one day.

House did the right thing, if he would have done anything more than what he did he would have had problems. Eddie's first responsibility is to the ppl who sign his checks and his team mates. They are way to unhealthy for him to display any other type of behavior with the way hes shooting those 3's. It was professional behavior from a player on a champuonship team. you want to see hood stuff watch street ball.
  • I feel that Eddie House handled the situation really well. He may have got in the guys face but he didn't hit him he jus backed away and told the ref.I'm glad he didnt hit the guy cause he would be suspended for awhile an the Celtics need him. Go Celtics

I think House handled it perfectly. It's obvious House was just pumped after he hit the shot and Alston just got in the way and lost his cool. But I like that House got back in his face, he didn't have to hit or shove him but he let him know what was up and that shows his toughness, that he won't put up with that dirty play.
