The Celtics team I watched play the Wolves last night didn't look in the least like the team that won the previous 5. They were flat on offense, shooting an anemic 44% from the floor and 26% from beyond the arc. And even worse, the team that hopes to become the best defensive team in NBA history allowed the Timberwolves to shoot 52%. And who in the world is Oleksiy Pecherov?? The Wolves didn't even pick up his option. But yet, there he was, scoring 24 points on 9-14 shooting to go with his 8 rebounds. Honestly, does this guy look like a guy who could go up against KG and Perk and come out on top? There was something really wrong here. I know Perk was mostly concentrating on Big Al and did a decent job of holding him to 18 points and 4 rebounds. But come on. KG couldn't contain this guy? Comments from the Other Side - Wolves 11/4

The Celtics are back, healthy, and on a mission. Rasheed looks like he has been playing with them for years. I don't see how this ends well. Yea we no chance whatsoever of winning this game. Maybe it will be a bit closer than I think because the Celtics are looking past us but they'll still blow us out. I'm gonna go out on a limb here and pick the Wolves to win...

Wolves Fall To Celtics At Home

Oleksiy Pecherov scored a career-high 24 points, but it wasn't enough as the Timberwolves were edged 92-90 by the Celtics at home on Wednesday night. Al Jefferson chipped in 18 points.

Celtics escape with 92-90 victory at Target Center

I thought I was joking when I tweeted before Wednesday night’s game, playfully mocking the night’s matchup that pitted Oleksiy Pecherov against Kevin Garnett. Shows you what I know. Two days after the Wolves declined to pick up his $2.3 million contract extension for 2010-11, Pecherov delivered the performance of a young career with a 24-point night [...]
