june jones is delirous if he thinks tim tebow is an average quarterback in a good system...he'll go packing back to the BIG island after the dawgs kick he and mr. brennan's tail.....

Yea June Jones was trying too hard to support Colt Brennan, he should just stay with the facts.
Here's the facts about Colt Brennan.
1. Broke the NCAA record for most TD passes in two seasons (now has 88) and is one TD pass shy of the NCAA single-season mark of 54 set by Houston's David
Klingler in 1990. (Klingler also held the two-season record of 83)
2. Has completed 72.1 percent of his pass attempts in 2006, tops in the nation.
3. Posts the highest pass efficiency rating in the nation (182.8) and could break the NCAA single-season record of 183.3 set by Shaun King of Tulane in 1998.
4. Leads the nation in five statistical categories, including Total Offense (410.8), Passing Efficiency (182.8), Points Responsible For (26.8), Completion
Percentage (72.14%) and Total Passing Yards (4,990).
5. Has broken eight school records including: Consecutive Pass Attempts Without an Interception (182), Consecutive 200-Yard Passing Games in a Career (24),
Most TD Passes in a Season (53), Consecutive Games Throwing a TD in a Career (25), Most Passing Yards in a Season (4,990), Total Offense Yards in a Season
(5,341), and Points Responsible For in a Season (348).
6. Has thrown for more than 300 yards and five touchdowns in seven games this season.
7. Posted pass efficiency ratings above 200 in four games in 2006, including a career-high 243.0 at Utah State (Nov. 4)
8. Is the team's second leading rusher with 351 yards and five touchdowns.
9. Three-time 2006 WAC Offensive Player of the Week, Walter Camp Offensive National Player of the Week (Nov. 4), USA Today National Player of the Week (Nov.
7).
10. Has played only seven complete games (sat out 4th quarter in six games in 2006).
11. Also broke school records for Consecutive 200-Yard (passing) Games in a Season (13), and Consecutive Games Throwing a TD Pass in a Season (13).
12. Is one of three finalists for the Davey O'Brien Award.
13. Has helped Hawaii to its first Associated Press Top 25 ranking since 1993.
14. Posts a 10-3 record as a starter in 2006.
15. Helped Hawaii to a school-record nine-game win streak.
To be a Heisman a player also needs to be consistent. I say give Tim Tebow one more year. If he does the same thing the next year then no questions ask.
His stats is great this year, but Colt Brennan has been great for two years in a row. It is proof that he is great. Also part of being a
Heisman is being a team leader and making your team win. Colt Brennan has brought his team back from many games and learned to adapt to the defense and
score on any defense. He is adaptable, a team leader, consistent, and most importantly gives his team the wins.
And finally in regards to being a system quarterback...virtually all quarterbacks are a sytems quarterback, the important thing is how they implement and
adapt to that system. Colt Brennan has virtually perfected the UH Warriors system and adapts to virtually any defense that is on him. Tim Tebow has a
couple more years to try to stay consistent and lead his team to a win. Until then, Colt Brennan outright deserves the heisman. This is the year of the
underdogs!!!! Go Warriors.

Can't argue with the facts. Nice job.
