Ricky Davis would appear to be a good player in the NBA. He is capable of putting up between 15 and 20 points per game. He can add 3 to 5 rebounds per game. He can jump right out of the gym to deliver thunderous dunks and alley-oops. He is an all-around athletic player who seemingly would be a good addition to any team. Seemingly.

For a guy that SHOULD have a huge ego, he doesn't. It says a lot about his character. What would MJ do? Probably clap his hands and have Will Perdue put the kid in a headlock under his hairy armpits.
Dwayne Wade shut down for season
Multiple sources (1, 2, 3) this morning have confirmed the inevitable: the Heat's franchise player Dwayne Wade will be shut down for the rest of the season to undergo treatment on his left knee.
The next question for fantasy owners is who should one pick up on the Heat? I like Ricky Davis a lot because he can do just about everything. In addition to that, he has been playing...
NBA: Dwayne Wade out for season
Well I guess the Miami Heat are going to have a really good shot at getting the first overall pick in the 2008 NBA Draft. Heat Coach Pat Riley announced today that Dwayne Wade is going to miss the rest of the NBA season. Wade has had lingering knee issues and will be undergoing treatment and therapy in order to bring it back to 100% in time for the 2008 / 2009 NBA season.
DWYANE WADE OR MR. GLASS?
I think it's high time Dwyane Wade gave up his nickname "Flash". Since winning the 2006 NBA Championship, Wade has spent more time in rehab that Lindsay Lohan. Now, Its a not question about if Dwayne Wade gets hurt,
its a question of when.
He's become a present day Penny Hardaway.
He's become that running back that got too many carries his first couple...

The Sixers Secret Weapon
The Celtics will be playing the Sixers on Monday night and I started thinking about why the Sixers are inexplicably playing so well. They have won 3 in a row and are in the thick of the playoff race, currently in 7th place. So, what is the secret of their success? I think I found the answer.
Day 133 of 170: Is it too late to pick up Ricky Davis?
Waiver Wire Line of the Night: Already mentioned Ricky Davis, so next up would be Daequan Cook (4.07) with 23 points on 5 threes. He only shot 9/20, so he passes the 70% rule. He jumped from a season average of 20 minutes to 29 and 43 over the last 2 games. And his name is an uncommon spelling. Not that I know a common spelling of Daequan. I guess if you have a spot, go for it and...

Shawn Marion is Magic: Can be in two places at one time!
A lot of interesting stuff took place in Philips Arena on Saturday night as not only an NBA game took place but there was an NBA doubleheader: Pat Riley fell to 0-4 in doubleheaders, Shawn Marion technically played and lost for two different teams on the same day, and the Miami Heat are still really bad at basketball.
When all was said and done, the result of the replayed...
