Ron Artest to the Rockets?

It looks like T-Mac may be getting out of the first round of the playoffs this year after what the Rockets just pulled off... They just traded Bobby Jackson, Donte Green (this years pick) and a 2009 1st rd pick for Ron Artest... Is that all it took? WOW.. this is unbelievable...

Can you imagine T-Mac, Yao, and Artest???

The Kings are FINALLY rebuilding!!!!

Would getting Jackson back qualify as rebuilding?

Nice, my Rockets are gonna ball up the league next year

I think you better start preparing for a second round TC!

I hope

I still don't think they are gonna get out of the first round, I sure hope Grant Hill gets out of the first round because he plays for PHX

I think they will. I hope they do, McGrady deserves to...same with Hill.

Wow! I knew the Rockets needed him but didn't know he'd actually go there. This might launch the Rockets in the 2nd round, and Action Jackson's a King again. Should have got Battier though.

I heard on the radio that the Kings also get Donte Greene.

wow, that' s all they had to give up??? I thought the Kings could have gotten a Lamar Odom, instead they just trade for nothing???... odd

I would have to disagree with that....they got a first round pick and donte green, well lets just he is going to be a freak when he develops,.....They have enough young talent and scoring to make some noise this season.

In the West, the rich get richer.

I cant believe the Rockets were able to pull this off.. I thot that he wouldnt be traded.. but i guess not... Wow.. im shocked.. Maybe now the Rockets wont have so much trouble.. HAHAHA

coming from a laker fan ... YALL CAME UP BIG TIME .. BUT IF MY ANGELS CAN PULL OF A BEAST TRADE THAN I KNOW MY LAKERS CAN DO THE SAME !!!!!!!!!!!!! SINCE ARTEST IS GONE I CAN SEE US GETTING JOSH SMITH .

wat trade are u talking about the mark texeira one??

Lakers, Celtics, Rockets = Best Teams in the league

you can take the lakers and the rockets outta that equation... The lakers will not make it back to the finals... and the rockets will now be able to get outta da first round of the playoffs...

wait what?

Ok... So you really think that this soft Lakers team is better than... or even as good as the Lakers of old??? And are you saying that this Rockets team even comes close to the rockets of old?

I think we use dynasty a little too losely... The lakers ran threw the entire Western Conference and performed like a d-league team in the finals... Dont think that the Lakers will be able to run thru the WC again... Houston just got better... da Hornets will be better.. San Antone will be there... So...

Helloooooo? Anyone seen the Heat's roster or the Trailblazers ballin group??

They still dont compare to those three teams. Trail Blazers will be great if Oden lives up to the hype. I'm talking dynasty. I'll be writing an article about them.

WHAT...lakers get bynum back next year (even if he's not as good as last year, they also get the addition of gasol, they're set down low, and kobe, nuff said), rockets (yao ming, big man with a nice touch and solid defender, artest, great perimeter defender and can provide some offense, mcgrady, never been out of the first round, but next year will be his first (if the rockets can avoid injuries). those are the top 3 teams right there....depending on how much the rookies can provide for their new teams

truth youforgot about the team rated better than celtics and detroit and lakers... aka the sixers

My friend resign AI and get Josh Smith then I'll think about it.

Artest has talent but lets not forget T Mac dont like ppl stealing his thunder and artest doesnt exactly have the best attitude i think this causes the rockets more trouble than it helps and TMAC could be on the Celtics and they would lose in the first round dude is cursed and i started believingthat when they didnt beat utah

This could be the intensity they were lacking to get them out of the 1st round.
Look out for the Rockets next year.

THE SIXERS HOW CAN U GIVE THEM A SHOT EVEN WITH MILLER SMITH AND ANDRE CELTICS LAKERS AND SPURS ALL IN ORDER I GIVE IT UP TO THE HORNETS TOO BUT THEY ARE TO YOUNG TO ACCOMPLISH ANYTHING YET THEIR RUN WAS A FLUKE

Nice pick up Rockets. I was hoping that if the Lakers made a trade this off season it would be for Artest. Josh Smith would be sweet, but that aint happening! So I wlil just take getting Bynum back. And going back to the finals...
