This game frustrated me to no end watching it. The Celtics played no defense. The announcers were awful. And worst of all, this had to be the worst officiated game in NBA history. There were just so many bad calls that it would be impossible to name them all. It was like one bad or no call after another. In all fairness, not all of them were against the Celtics. Rajon Rondo is 22 today. His game has improved way beyond his years this season and sometimes we forget just how young he still is. Today is also Doctor J, Juilius Erving's, birthday. Doctor J has always been a class act and one of my favorite all time players. I wish both of them a very happy birthday. A win against the Suns would be a great birthday present.

Last night saw the return, finally, of Boston Celtics forward Kevin Garnett to the lineup. Garnett who has been out since January 25th with a strained stomach muscle played only 21 minutes in the Celtics loss to the Denver Nuggets.

When the Suns and the Denver Nuggets announce their plans today to play an exhibition game at a tennis stadium in Indian Wells, Calif., next October, it will mark the first NBA outdoor game of the league's modern era.
The stadium is enclosed, and features rows of swanky suites and many other creature comforts of an NBA arena.

The Portland Trail Blazers acquired guard Von Wafer from the Denver Nuggets in exchange for guard Taurean Green, it was announced today by general manager Kevin Pritchard.
Wafer, 22, posted averages of 1.3 points, 0.5 rebounds, 0.2 assists and 4.3 minutes in 21 games this season for the Nuggets.

The NBA will reportedly announce an outdoor game to be played in October of this year, which will feature the Suns and Nuggets. The exhibition will mark the first time in over 35 years that an NBA game has been played outdoors. The event will take place at Indian Wells Tennis Garden in California inside a 16,000 seat tennis stadium.

The NBA took notice of the NHL's successful Winter Classic, and is planning to play a Suns-Nuggets exhibition game outdoors at the 16,100-seat Indian Wells Tennis Garden in California. I like that the NBA's imitating the NHL's concept for an outdoor game, but they should go a step further, and take a page out of And1's book. Let's see two teams suit up on a streetball court.

Our Denver Nuggets played hard all game long. If the boys continue to play with that mindset and control we will do even better than we already are. whats up with all the uncalled fouls? Anyway that was a big win for us. Also Kmart being my favorite player you have been playing great. Keep up the good work guys.

There was a little of each in the Celtics game against the Warriors. The good is seeing KG, Tony and Ray making progress at getting back to form and the Pistons losing their second in a row as well. The bad was James Posey's poor play, and the Celtics getting out rebounded and out scored in the paint. The ugly was the Celtics missing 14 free throws, Baron's game winner, and...

The Knicks are now turning on each other. When that happens the end is truly near. One thing that was impressive about the Celtics in their terrible season last year and even during the 18 game losing streak, the players never turned on each other and no fingers were ever pointed and that says alot about the character of the players that Danny had brought in for that team.
