Random Musings: I'm a big Beltre fan, but it seems highly unlikely he'll return as a Mariner in 2010, does this mean Zduriencik is likely to trade him before the season starts? I'm kind of angry they're moving the Pro Bowl to Miami, but to tell the truth, who really cares about the Pro Bowl anyways? It's more for the players than for the fans, and there is nothing wrong with that.

I have never been into sports gambling. Sure I do the NCAA Basketball pool with my buddies, and I have bet 5$ with a friend on whether or not Supersonic Center Robert Swift is the same guy that played Ferguson on the Nickelodeon show Clarissa Explains it All, but everyday gambling? Why was the firing of Rod Marinelli breaking news?

Don't tell me you couldn't see the firing of Rod Marinelli coming from a mile away. His Detroit Lions were 0-16 to set the all-time record for futility. As if that were not enough, Marinelli was 10-38 in three years with the Lions, including 3-13 in 2006. This sort of ineptitude makes last ...

Rod Marinelli Fired

Along with the entire 0-16 Detroit Lions coaching staff except wide receivers coach Shawn Jefferson and running backs coach Sam Gash.
