A Daily Babble Production Travis Outlaw and Mike Conley are the supposed main characters of a recent trade rumor reported by Yahoo!'s Adrian Wojnarowski. But deciding which young point guard - Conley or Sergio Rodriguez - is the better investment may be the key to Kevin Pritchard's thinking as the Portland Trail Blazers and Memphis Grizzlies explore a possible multi-player deal. According to Wojnarowski's report, the deal is going nowhere fast at the moment, but that doesn'...

I just dont think it will happen now.Too much good chemistry to mess with right now. I think Blake and Sergio are doing a wonderful job. Everyone is forgetting we have a guy riding the bench named Bayless as well. I call BS. The only thing I think we will see is Raef's contract go out the door for someone else. We are now number one in the NW division, and 3rd in the west, pretty much tied 2nd in the west. So I dont think this will happen

No trades are going down in Portland. If KP says it than it must be true. GO BLAZERS!!!!

No trades. I'd let this core group play together for 2 years first. Let them feel like a team and he chemistry will only get better.

Right now, to me. Sergio has the most value. Even more then Conley. He is almost playing more minutes then Blake, and he is producing, producing like a play making point guard should. His +- is higher the conley, Even though Sergio's play does not automatically translate to his own statistical bracket he still makes his teammates better. His assists are going up, and he scores when he needs to. He is a pass first high paced point guard. I see nothing happening with Trout or Sergio.

But at the same time something has to give. Martell is coming off the injury soon. Where do we put him. Travis has been playing great, Rudy has as well. When have too much talent and not enough minutes for them to develop.

To me, Travis or Martell has to go. I see us getting more for packaging Martell with Raef for a big name player. Just because Martell got his extension does not mean he is not on the block. I would think even more now he is on the block, mainly because he has a number attached to him now.

Bayless is a good asset but, when do you let the kid develop?

Keegan- I like the idea of Conley and cohesion with the Blazers- specifically Oden. Having that trust and friendship makes his stay locked in a few years and that's important to think about now. Conley would be a great cultural fit with this team as well. I'm more inclined to look at Bayless as the trade bait simply because of his development thus far. Conley seems to have more upside and experience. As for losing Outlaw... Geez, that's tough but Batum is just unreal for a 19 year old. I would think that the way Sergio is playing and questions surrounding Websters return, a wait until closer to February might be better. Besides, we have the opportunity to really see how everyone gels through the toughest 1st half of a season on any schedule with back-to-back's and many road games. See you in the play-off's.
