The thrill remains the same for Phoenix Suns point guard Steve Nash as he prepares for season number 13 in the NBA. Nash turns 35 years old this February, but he is in no hurry to retire from the Association. The "East Valley Tribune" Monday reported that Nash has told reporters that he would like to play another four seasons, and might play longer than that if he retains his health

It was as if the Steve Nash retirement ceremony plans were under way the moment the Suns landed Goran Dragic, Nash's heir apparent.
Until Suns broadcast analyst Scott Williams asked Nash last week about his plans beyond his current contract, many had begun to assume Dragic would take over for Nash in 2010.
Nash's plan is to play through 2012, at least.

In all reality, the Phoenix Suns are a playoff team, but with the age factor looming over some of its key players, winning that title will be a long shot. With three role players playing more than 12 seasons and aging above 32, Grant Hill (36), Shaquille O'Neal (36) and Steve Nash (34), the Phoenix Suns need to train some fresh legs soon.
