Should You Shut Down a Superstar?

A complete difference in styles proves that shutting down a superstar is sometimes not the best option. Kobe vs Lebron turned into an exercise in jump shooting for wide open Cavaliers players on Sunday.

Points are points, doesn't matter where they come from.

Sure it does. If they come from the Superstar, and you make them work really hard to get them, then they come at a higher cost than if they come from a dishing superstar to wide open teammates for layups which come at a lower cost.
