Kevin Durant to play for OKC Thunder - despite sucky logo
The team formerly known as the Seattle Supersonics debuted their new team name and logo last night. To no one's surprise the team name is the Oklahoma City Thunder, but I'm not sure anyone expected the logo to be completely awful. It looks like they got it for $99 off a Logomaker.com. I'd love to support Kevin Durant, but I'm not wearing anything with that on it....

Still no lack of drama in Seattle pro basketball saga
It's been a while since we've checked in on professional basketball in Seattle. So, let's take a look.... Yep, the team is still gone. Don't have a new one. Sixers add Donyell Marshall
The Sixers offseason just keeps getting better and better. The Sixers started off by adding a star player in Elton Brand, then they went out and signed several complementary players before re-signing two key players already on the team, Andre Iguodala and Louis Williams.

Donyell Marshall joins Sixers, will he burn Raptors?
Heading into the NBA season it is not the Celtics, Pistons or Magic that worry me as a Raptors fan, it is the 76ers. They are young, athletic and they added Elton Brand to dominate inside. They are one of the future teams of the East. They will be the main team the Raptors will [...]
Oh Hell, Don Yell
In one of those breathless e-mails that always make me feel vaguely sad for the PR intern that had to write it, the Sixers announced today that they've signed Donyell Marshall, because he was too soft to get a Euro offer. No, wait, it's because the seventh team in fourteen years (really, seven and fourteen? I'm old and so is he) is going to be the charm for the "...

Sixers Sign Donyell Marshall
The Sixers continued with their ridiculously busy off season Monday by signing fifteen year veteran shooter Donyell Marshall.
Marshall, a Reading, PA native, has averaged 11.4 points per game and 6.8 rebounds in his career. He has played for eight teams, including the Toronto Rapters, with whom he set an NBA record with 12 three-pointers against the Sixers in 2005.
