A little late for this post, but it's also regarding the Knicks, so really, who cares? If people in New York weren't already signing the blues, the terrible performance put in by the Knicks last night should have had them looking for harmonicas and bottles of bourbon, because that was not, I repeat, NOT NBA basketball. From the terrible turnovers to the forced shots, the Knicks showed why they are as bad of a team as the standings show. The Raptors-Knicks game was a microcosm of the Knicks season, with the Fat Boys even sitting for the majority of the game, one (Curry) because he was utterly useless, the other (Randolph) because he is a big headed, big mouthed idiot. It takes a lot for a guy to come out of an argument with Isiah Thomas looking like the bad guy and Randolph managed to make himself look like the grand marshall of the dummy parade. The Knicks won't win not for a lack of talent and not for a complete lack of heart (because some of those guys on the be...

The lastest in the Marbury saga: ankle surgery?

Looks like Marbury may have to go under the knife. "If the doctor says I have bone spurs in my ankle and he says I need surgery, I'm going to get it," Marbury said. "I'm going to get it taken care of. I'm not going to wait or hesitate because that's my career." No big loss for the Knicks, hell he's hardly played this year

Jamariold School

Watching a basketball game by yourself, there are probably very few things that are going to make you laugh out loud. I mean, a real from the bottom-of-the-gut-still-smiling-five-seconds-later kind of laugh. But most of the time, when I see Jamario Moon block a shot, I start laughing. There are a couple of reasons for this. a) His blocks are so emphatic. These aren't Hakeem blocks...

3 Reasons This Game Should Have Ended in Regulation Time

Lately, we've been doing a lot of talking about how the Raptors have not been able to finish off teams, how they fade down the stretch and just don't have that killer instinct. If you wanted a good example of why the Raptors are not able to finish off teams, today's game against the Blazers was a perfect example. Now, by no means are the Blazers chumps. They are a good...

Palace of Broken Dreams

Because for the Raptors to think that they were going to walk into the Palace of Auburn Hills and come out with a win against the Pistons after the Pistons lost to the Knicks the other night?well, that was just a dream. The Raptors actually had a few chances to keep this close and have a shot down the stretch, but the Pistons did what good teams do, capitalizing...

Raps vs. Kings Preview

What to make of the Kings (or the Queens as Shaq infamously called them…)? The Sacramento Kings are a decent scoring team, 11th in the league, averaging just over 99 points, but they also give up a lot of points, just under 102 points per game, 8th in the league. They shoot a decent percentage (45.6%), but they also let teams shoot at an even better rate (46%). But here'...
