Watch the game before you write an article. And edit your title accordingly.
P.S. It's funny to see Portland fans get super happy when Blake has one decent game out of 35, haha. Sorry guys, he still averages 8pts/4.7assts/0.8stls in 30 minutes. I should list the other 33 games he was horrible in(he had another average game against the Bucks), but I'll let you guys have this ONE. Baron outplayed by Blake, pff. Hahhaa, you wish.

The Blazers have beaten the Warriors twice this year, and doing it so relatively easy. All you have to do is attack their big men with buckets in the paint and get Baron Davis and Stephen Jackson frustrated with fouls. They take themselves out of the game. That, my friends, is being mentally outplayed.

Learn something. So, did Blake "outplay" Brandan Wright? Stephen Jackson? Jarrett Jack? Belinelli? Brandon Roy? NO, but he did statistically have a better game than the previously listed.
And how do we have no future when we have the second or third youngest team in the league? You're an idiot, for sure. Instead of just watching the game like the casual fan that you are, decipher the NBA inside - out, then post your comment with some substance.
You are giving Portland fans a bad representation.

Baron Davis and S.Jax have 5+ more good years left, Monta Ellis(future all-star), Kelenna Azubuike is a beast, and if you don't think Andris Biedrins is a "legit" center with the highest FG% in the league(AND he's only 21 yrs. old) then you are one delusional individual. How do the Warriors have no future??
P.S. I left Greg Oden out of the list for Portland's future purposely. Main reason being: He hasn't played a single NBA game. Thus, you have no idea of what type of "future" he beholds. He has proven nothing, except rehabbing on a timely manner.

On the Baron Davis thing, yes he was outplayed statistically but who's had a better season over all? Don't forget about what Steve Blakes stats really are for the season. None the less, go blazers.
jus10gee said January 10, 2008
And I don't know which sport you watch. But, in basketball, players do not take themselves out of the game - the coaches or officials do. AND what the hell is mentally outplayed? Did the Blazers hypnotize Baron and telepathically make him choose foul somebody?? It's usually referred to as officials call. That, my friend, was an idiotic comment you posted.

Since he got traded to Denver last year I liked him, how he distributed the ball and let AI get to play SG. He had 8.3 ppg. and 6.6 apg. at Denver. He has 10 ppg. and 4 apg. during a 17-1 stretch of games, but if he steps up those stats, he can be better.
Dewey said January 11, 2008
Overall I don't think anyone would argue with the fact that Baron is the better point guard, but last night you've gotta give it up to Maryland alum Steve Blake. The guy was money. Even as a Warriors fan, I was bummed to see him leave the game. He deserved a career high (fell one point short) the way he was playing. The Warriors will get the upper hand next time!
jfranzen said January 11, 2008
No one thinks Blake is better than Davis for 82 games a year.
No one can argue that Golden State is better than Portland, because the record is the record.
If Golden State's GM could trade rosters with Portland, he would.
Blake is a good guy with very little style. Davis is straight pimp.

since he's a little older and more mature than all of us young folk, we should probably listen.
next year, the west will be shaken up a lot, i think. the traditional powers: phoenix, san antonio and dallas are either weakening or getting old as to defy time. next year, i think we'll have the Wild Western conference.

Mr. Oden, please check out what this person said. I hope you get back from your injury soon, and please leave that town - clearly this ONE fan does not have a clue what he is saying, but that doesn't represent the whole portland nation, but he just made YOU GUYS look bad.

Steve Blake ranks fifth in the NBA in assist/turnover ratio (3.51) and is sixth in 3-point percentage (.473).
The team does't need him to score and Bradon gets a grip of his assists. Don't just quote season stats if you are going to talk about what a player brings to the table.
