Steve Blake is the luckiest guy in the NBA

Steve Blake, the former Maryland PG on their national title team with Juan Dixon, got really lucky in the trade for Allen Iverson. He now gets to pass the ball to both Allen Iverson and Carmelo Anthony, working his way to 12 assists last night. I don't know about you, but my fantasy team needs some assists so I picked him up quick. Melo poured in 28 and 6 assists while Iverson had 23 and 7 assists. Things look like they will be fun in Denver!

That's why he's in the league in the first place, he played at Maryland with Juan Dixon and Lonny Baxter.

Very good insight. Blake is also an outstanding open shooter. He can't create his own shot, but he's going to get plenty of open looks in this offense. Nice pickup.

True, I think this is what the Nuggets had in mind when they sent shoot first PG Earl Boykins on his way out. Now they have someone to distribute the rock and hit open jumpers.

this kinda hurts JR Smith owners. well not if he chucks up 18 shots (including 14 treys) in 24 minutes like he did yesterday.
