Up in the great Northwest at Steve's Place (Vancouver, Canada) the Sonics beat the Suns, 121-108 to complete the preseason at 5-3 and finally moving on to the real games. The game was very close for the most part, especially in the first half, while in the end Chris Wilcox's 27 points and seven Sonics in double figures (non of whom was named Durant back in Seattle resting his ankle) proved to be the difference; former Sun Kurt Thomas added 19 on 8-12 shooting.
