Thursday night when the Lakers toyed with the Suns in a 132-106 blowout, it didn't look like Phoenix belonged on the same court with the defending Western Conference champions. On Sunday, that all changed. Shaquille O'Neal was dominant again, scoring 33 points before fouling out, and the Suns defeat the Lakers ... Getty Images

  • I saw Jordan Farmar talking 5hit to Phil Jackson, Kobe talking 5hit to Mbenga, and Sasha still aint playing Defense!! The Chemistry is GONE!! Something is going on behind closed doors because i've never seen this team argue like the way they have..
  • Farmar has always been know to be a mouthy bish. Especially towards the coaching staff. Sasha is soft as hell. Kobe is being Kobe. And DJ is lucky to be on any NBA roster. I'm not tripping. Shaq is healthy and imposing his will. The Suns are busy feeding the big dog, and he's clogging up the lane real well.
  • Mbenga looked like he was ready to crack Kobe!! haha
  • With Amare out, the Suns are playing Shaq ball, and that's always a threat, especially if Nash is his sidekick
  • makes me glad
  • The concern I have (among others) is the ability for Shaq to dominate every night. If this is a sign that the Suns are rebounding, then we need to see a Shaq-circa-2003 for them to make the playoffs.
  • iF ONLY DA SUNS STARTED PLAYiNG A LONG TiME AGO THEN ALL OF U WOULD BE SAYiNG DiZ TWO MONTHZ AGO!!! i LYK DA SUNS BUT DiZ YEAR THEY SORTA SUCK!!! HOPEFULLY THEY WiLLL START PLAYiN LiKE DiZ MORE!!!!
  • Shaq was the Diesel of Old having his way with the Lakers so called Big Men,yeah it was good to see Shaq Diesel in that form again, but I honestly don't see Phoenix going to far without Amar'e..
  • Sweeeet Win. but yeah UNC don,t think they will go too far IF they get a playoff spot.
  • If my Suns can play with that kind of heart every night they can be dangerous. hill, nash and shaq along with jay rich and hopeully a-dog back for the playoffs and anything can happen

Shaq: The Big Peter Pan

Day 126 of 170: Kobe Bryant is a good fantasy basketball team player

Line of the Night: Kobe Bryant (1.44) tried to answer the age-old (or at least, year-old) question: Are the Lakers better without Andrew Bynum? Well, despite Kobe’s 49 points (3 threes, 47% FG, 10-10 FTs) and 11 rebounds, the Lakers could have used Bynum yesterday to slow down the android that the league created to [...]

Wade?s Band-Aid Fashion Statement is Over

When Dwayne Wade of the Miami Heat injured his left eye after taking a blow to the face from Charlotte Bobcats forward Juwan Howard, he wore a band-aid to protect it. It seems, however, that Wade took to wearing Band-Aids just a bit longer than he needed to. The NBA has banned Wade, and other players, from wearing Band-Aids as a fashion statement as Wade donned band-aids with...
