Yet after all the trouble-prone players dubbed "Jail Blazers" were gone and before the resurgence had begun in earnest, none other than former Blazer and then-King Bonzi Wells had this to say after an exhibition win over his old team Oct. 22, 2005.
"Those guys probably don't even want to play," Wells said of the newest Blazers after being booed throughout his return. "They're probably calling their agents every day, like, 'Man, is there any way you can trade me out of here?'"
It wouldn't stay that way for long.
