The 2008 NBA Coach of the Year

I think it should be given to Byron Scott of the Hornets, although it could be Mo Cheeks, Rick Adelman, or even Phil Jackson

What do you think?

he also coached them to the most wins in franchise history!!!

The NBA Coach of the Year should be rewarded to the coach who had to put the most work in. Phil Jackson has been blessed with the most talented Laker squads since 2001. Ditto Scott who has the best point guard in the game. A coach who has talent has a much easier time.

I'd give it to Adelman, who had to deal with a rotating set of injuries and then Yao going down and somehow make everything work. A 22 game win streak has a lot to do with effective coaching. Mo Cheeks is probably second with a great job of managing a hustling team and dragging their way into the playoffs. Reggie Theus is third for working with peanuts in Sacramento and generating 38 wins in the West.
