We selected a team of all white basketball players from the United States. These are essentially the top twelve American basketball players in the world right now, that happen to be white. Trust us, it was difficult.

p.s. Psycho T's game is good for college hoops, and perfect for NBA disappointment.

The fact of the matter is that an all-white American team could beat any other country's national team.
And this delineation into "Africa vs. Europe" is stupid. Using the phrase "blackeys" is beyond moronic.

Am I the only one who finds this just a little bit unbelievable?
NoBloodNoFoul replied November 12, 2008
If you were a black NBA player, how would you feel about this topic? My read would be that no matter what, fans are still drawing some sort of distinction between white players and black players. Distinctions are often the source of stereotypes and discrimination (un-intended or otherwise). I wonder what it might feel like to be an incredible athlete, an NBA millionaire, and yet have to acknowledge that some NBA fans would like to see an all-white NBA team?
I think it's incumbent upon Yardbarker to put a stop to topics like this - it's offensive and inappropriate.
