      I would disagree with you on Adam Morrison he has to stay healthy in order to play and get out of Charlotte,JJ is a whole different story,Psycho-T will do just fine in the League..

      Make sure that they were all born in the U.S. too just like this article. Nash and Dirk are both white. Are they supposed to be different because of the country they were born in. Let's see that list of american born blackeys in the NHL.

        There aren't any. The vast majority of NHL black players are Canadian. I can think of Mike Grier and Kyle Okposo who were born in the US.

  It's the same in football and baseball. Never pick a black quarterback or a black pitcher. They have no arm strength. I would like to see an all black hockey team but I would rather see an all black mathematics team. Lol. Just watch a porn movie and you'll see why white men can't jump.

  i kind of disagree with some things on this. i think u should put all white boys on a team. dirk ,nash , peja etc. you would have a pretty good team. or an all time white team, now that would be the dream team. bird,west, mchale,walton etc. and this whole american born thing you got to think about, how many americans r part german, irish, english, canadian etc. ur only truely from this country if ur native american. something to think about

    How about a starting five of Jerry West and John Stockton in the back court. Bill Walton, Larry Bird and Kevin McHale up front. That is an amazing team. I do think that the reason for this post was to try to downgrade white players and say they are different because they are born here. We're still European americans. The same should hold true for black players. Even though Michael Jordan may have roots in Nigeria Lebron James may have roods in Kenya or some other country in Africa. It's still Africa and it's still Europe. There are now more white players in the NBA now than in the last twenty years. Also in heavyweight boxing division the once titled white hope is now the black hope. Sports has taken on a different color and I think alot of black people resent that. I would like to see a team of black american hockey players. They can't have any canadian blood in them either. I'm just curious.

    I think the point is to show the disparity of talent basketabll-wise, not only between whites and blacks (kinda obvious), but between American whites and other countries. Guys like Nash, Nowitzki, Gasol, Peja, etc... could form a pretty good team. Even more if you count some of the Argentinan guys, who are also mainly of European descent (many have German and Italian roots). But why does American lack so much? Part of it must be a culture thing, as other countries have produced pretty good white players. And America can produce pretty good black players. But why the lack of good American white players? It's not just genetics if other countries can do it.

      Good point Jericho. That's the point I was making between the disparity of talent hockey wise between whites and blacks which is also very obious. There are some good canadian black players but american black hockey players have about as much fluency in them as a black quarterback. I think the thing in this country is basketball is an inner city game where whites don't get the exposure of good talent to play against their whole lives. It's the same in some of the Latin American countries with baseball. You're brought up with it at a very young age. You go through a large city like Chicago and you see hundreds if not thousands of black children playing basketball. You don't see that type of involvement or participation in white neighborhoods. It's not as important to whites in this country as blacks.

  This whole topic seems offensive to me. Why is this OK? This is just as much of an insult to a white player as it is to a black player - aren't we as fans supposed to enjoy the game regardless of the race of the players? Discussing the pros and cons of an all-white NBA team is a lot like discussing the pros and cons of an all-white country club, is it not?

    If you were a black NBA player, how would you feel about this topic? My read would be that no matter what, fans are still drawing some sort of distinction between white players and black players. Distinctions are often the source of stereotypes and discrimination (un-intended or otherwise). I wonder what it might feel like to be an incredible athlete, an NBA millionaire, and yet have to acknowledge that some NBA fans would like to see an all-white NBA team?
    
    I think it's incumbent upon Yardbarker to put a stop to topics like this - it's offensive and inappropriate.
