If you're an Orlando Magic fan, you have to be feeling kind of blue. Not just because your team's color is blue, but because they lost Game 5 to the Cleveland Cavaliers with a chance to close the series.
Roaring back on the road from a 22-point deficit to take an 8-point lead in the third quarter, only to lose that cushion and lose by 10. The missed free throws. The turnovers by the point guards - especially the dribble-dribble-get-blocked sequence by Anthony Johnson early in the fourth with the Magic down by two. The fouls by Dwight Howard.
The s**t-talker Mo Williams lighting it up with 24 points. The three point plays by LeBron James and various Cavs. Not being able to do anything about LeBron the Conqueror as he either scored or assisted on 32 straight points. King James' triple-double (37 points, 14 rebounds, 12 assists) that literally saved the seasonal lives of him and his team.
It all had to be extremely frustrating. But be sad no more. Your team is still up 3-2 and gets a chance to close at home on Saturday.
Until then, soothe the pain with The Magical Blue Thong of Merxe Gimeno :

LeBron James And One vs Dwight Howard, Game 5, NBA Playoffs Video. This sealed the deal for the Cavs. Dwight fouled out. This put the Cavs over 100 points with 2 minutes left. The Cavs never let the Magic back into the game.
Thanks for being the MVP last night LeBron. Can he do it [...]
Robert Littal vs. Dwight Howard's Girlfriend Twitter Incident..You Make The Call
I must admit I might be the greatest Tweeter of all time. I have had some legendary twitter conversations for the Cheating Commandments to Mike Brown offensive sets, so if you aren't following me you definitely should start because you are missing out. Last night I was getting my Tweet on during the Magic vs. Cavs game (I normally twitter during every major sporting event in...
The NBA Rescinds Dwight Howard Technical
Wisely, I might add…The NBA announced Wednesday that it has rescinded Howard’s sixth technical foul of the playoffs, which he was given for taunting Anderson Varejao after a layup in the fourth quarter of the Magic’s 116-114 overtime victory Tuesday night. Cleveland’s forward had draped his arms around Howard in a failed attempt to stop [...]
Staying Alive! Cavaliers Top Magic 112-102; Trail 3-2 In Series
It was white knuckle time at the start of the fourth quarter at the Q Arena in Cleveland Thursday night. The Cleveland Cavaliers were fighting for their NBA Playoff lives; trailing in the series 3-1 and in the game to the Orlando Magic 79-78. They had led by 22 points in the first quarter only to once again have blown the lead as they had numerous times previously in this series...
New Orleans Hornets-Hindsight is 2020
What Ifs, What Fors, and What The #@^&s? Twenty-eight NBA teams are looking at how to fix what went wrong about now, soon to be Thirty. Some wonder about squandered potential, some about how to fix injury issues, some at how to dump salaries to save cash (shame on you, wretched greedheads. More on that later), some looking at incredible young potential and how to keep...
Andrew Bynum is better than Dwight Howard
Sike.
Only if I'm bleeding from the top of my head would I seriously say something like that. Dwight Howard is better than Andrew Bynum, and if I ever change that statement, you'll know that something has gone terribly, terribly wrong in either Dwight Howard's career or my mental state.
But when I watch Andrew Bynum play, I see him doing some of the things that I want to see from...
Ep. 447: Smells Like Finals
On today’s show, Tas and I marvel at what could be Dwight Howard’s coming out party, Game 4’s solid officiating (in all seriousness) and LeBron’s overtime. We also touch on Mo Williams’ verbal mistake, Mike Brown’s puzzling moves and Dwight vs. Shaq at the free throw line.

Pao Gasol is the Big Laker Fundamental
In last night's Game 6 elimination win by the Lakers over the Nuggets, the key stretches were late in the first half when they made that run to close the half, and early in the 3rd quarter with the fine play of Pao Gasol in the post. I've watched several games so far throughout these playoffs where Gasol played very well, and it shouldn't be surprising because the triangle...

The NBA's 'T' party
Players are collecting technical fouls in these NBA playoffs the way they used to collect tattoos - or bling. The "T" seems to be the latest affectation, the latest vanity item... like the headband or the compression sock. Dwight Howard got his sixth tech of the postseason Tuesday night for taunting the Cavaliers' Anderson Varejao. Fortunately for Howard, the "T" was rescinded by...
LeDone.
Well, there you have it.Perhaps game five just took too much out of them, or perhaps Orlando really is that good. Either way, what looked like a month ago would be an easy trip to the NBA Finals and an eventual showdown with the Los Angeles Lakers turned into the Cavs’ worst nightmare.Bad officiating or not, Orlando just never took their foot off the gas in this game. The Wine...
Stayin' Alive; Cavs Force Game Six
Despite throwing another 20+ point lead out the window, the Cleveland Cavaliers did something tonight they haven’t been able to do all series long by closing out the Orlando Magic in the fourth quarter to win a game.Despite the number of 40-point games LeBron James has notched on his belt in this series, tonight’s triple-double performance was easily his most impressive so far...
