Top 7 reasons the Celtics are frustrating as hell
1. The reason you actually need to have an offense and offensive plays was more than evident in the 4th quarter - you would think a head coach of a 66-win team would know this.
2. Our best player looks to pass first when he's 10 feet from the basket and open, even when he's on his way to a 33 point night.
3. Our shooting guard can't dribble anymore and always looks...
Celtics Still 63% Favorites

"It's Kinda Surreal" - Celtics Going to Finals
Game 6 in Detroit, and nobody expected the Celtics to win, at least not me. But hey, it was time for the real Boston Celtics to show up in these playoffs . . . on the road . . . and finally get it done in the 4th quarter. Celtics defeated the Pistons winning 89-81 going away after coming back from a 10 point deficit early in the 4th.

ECF - May 28 2008 Pre-Game 5 Presser - Flip Saunders
Coach Flip Saunders of the Detroit Pistons, before Game 5 of the 2008 Eastern Conference Finals.
Q. Is there anything in this series that in your judgment and experience you haven’t seen before in terms of teams playing well, then playing inexplicably bad, things going the way you planned, things not going the way you planned? [...]
The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly
Watching Game 5, especially during that remarkable 3rd quarter the Celtics had, I still couldn't help but feel a bit uneasy heading into the 4th quarter. After all, these are the Eastern Conference Finals. There are reasons why these two teams are here. Namely because they're very good. Anyone who thought that the Pistons would roll after after being down 17 in the 3rd was...

Lakers vs Celtics - Who do you like?
Do the Celtics have a shot?
Seriously, is there a single facet where they have the edge? Is there any x-factor that can hope for that the Lakers don't easily neutralize?
Is this Lakers in 4 going to be even more convincing than Spurs over Cavs?
Game 6 Random Thoughts
The Celtics cannot come into tonight's game thinking that if they don't win this one, they have a game 7 at home to fall back on. This Pistons team is too dangerous to let them hang around. They have proved that they can win in Boston and they play their best basketball when they are desperate. The Celtics must see this as a must win and come out and play like it. I am a...

Q. Is Tony Allen dressing tonight? And if not, who’s replacing him on the active roster?
Doc Rivers: These deep, penetrating questions. No, he’s not dressing tonight. He got injured, I guess, in the one-on-one games yesterday. So Scalabrine.
Q. How does [...]
