Three way trade rumor

The latest trade rumor going around in a three-way binger between the Blazers, Hawks and Wizards. It's mostly scrubs, but Jamaaal would go to the Wizards, Brendan Haywood and Jarvis Hayes go to the Hawks and Salim Stoudamire, Esteban Batista and Lorenzen Wright would go to the Blazers.

I don't know if I really care about the deal or not, but it would fit needs for each team and it works under the salary cap.

Wow, what a nice collection of underacheiving stiff centers. The only good to come out of this is Etan Thomas getting to keep his dreads.

The Wizards are rolling...why mess with a good thing? J-Mags would only slow down their offense, and getting rid of Hayes weakens an already short bench. I do like the fact that Esteban Batista is involved though, for no particular reason.

Jamaaaal is one of the slowest players in the league, but he can still kind of score and board in a halfcourt set. The Wiz are doing well right now, but they need more of a halfcourt threat than Arenas launching 35-foot-quality shots. As for the other parts of the deal, I don't really care. But it should free up time for Lamarcus Aldridge in Portland. Why the hell is he rotting on the bench? I also like Salim Stoudamire as a scorer off the bench, and think he'll have a job in the league for 10 years or so.

Portland already has Juan Dixon and Martell Webster as their off the bench scorers...doesn't that seem like it will get a little crowded? While not as much of a three point threat as Stoudamire, Dixon can light it up, and Webster's coming along this season. I agree with you on the Aldridge point, the number two draft pick needs some minutes.

You're telling me this isn't a quality shot? http://youtube.com/watch?v=1dl5szJ-nRc

I don't think this trade is worth this much of my energy.

Definately not worth this much energy.
