With all the flopping, diving, whining, bad hairdos, and bad facial hair running through the NBA these days, I've decided to compile a list of ballers that you have probably considered punching (given the chance) in the face. Please feel free to comment if you think I've missed someone. 10. Richard Hamilton (Detroit Pistons) The masked man has taken 'ticky-tack' play to a new level in the years since Reggie Miller retired. I'm glad that he can run around the court a...

  • You forgot Kobe..... he is very smug sometimes.
    • MGabriel
yeah take replace billups with Kobe.
  • Eddie21
Very Nice. Agree with all of your picks...but not with Chauncey. Yeah he won ONE ring, but thats more than most players can brag about. He was also the MVP of the Finals in 04 and could've easily been the MVP of the 2005 Finals as well. Show him some love :)

    Good Article Thumbs Up.
  • GSW_HOLLA
haha that article was very entertaining. For me though I would personally have Bruce Bowen at number 1. Did you see what he did to Wally that one season? He straight Bruce Lee jump kicked him in the face!

      HAH.

Was this written by someone within the Boston organization? Billups? Hamilton? Not a chance. On the other hand, Pierce should be at the top. But I suppose he is more of an actor than a basketball player

wow. Kobe is the KING of flopping and whining. I don't see how you think Pierce is "that" guy because of one episode.

i thought lebron was the king of flopping and whining. kobe is the king of disbelief that he ever committed a foul.
  • Yeah it's fairly obvious you're a Boston fan (I am too), but there's no reason Chauncey should be on this list. He is overrated, but he's not a thug and at least he that one ring. As far as players missing from this list, I would add:
    - Damon Jones
    - Mark Blount
    - Carmelo Anthony
  • ThePistonPost
at least you've helped me make up my mind on the #1 NBA blogger i'd probably consider punching in the face
  • ddumont
    take it up with maustin1
  • Lynchyrightnow
GREAT LIST! Joakim Noah and the entire Bulls team should be on there, kobe bryant of course , and the only way I'd put Rasheed on that list is if I could punch him then he'd be frozen while I run three miles away . . .

    No Ron Artest?
    • Placard_complete_small
      Artest is sweet
    • NoBloodNoFoul
Artest would probably murder you if you tried to hit him. He's crazy.
      • Pinkpanthrrr
        Placard_complete_small
So no punching because we should be afraid?? lol. I seem to remember that guy with the beer dodging Artest's swing and Artest getting housed in Detroit. Don't mess with Detroit fans. They don't mess around apparently.

rips moves he uses he never gets called for them....mj did the same thing....smart veteran basketball players can get away with tiny little pushes to get open just enough to hit shots.....i love rip
  • wennington
actually Ginobili doesn't bother me too much, he's a phenomenal player... but Chauncey and Rip, props to that, and i'm a huge Piston fan BTW

VERY entertaining article. I agree with most of your picks, sans Chauncey Billups and Ginobili (and I absolutely DESPISE the Spurs); I rather enjoy watching him play.

HA, David Stern...no kidding! But Hamilton and Billups!? No way.

BIAS 101 up in here...Hamilton, Billups, Stevenson, Vujacic and Horford wow, looks like someone just talking about this years playoffs....Those 5 should be subbed in for Damon Jones, Kendrick Perkins (Foul King and Foul Queen is Garnett), Jason Terry (Master Splinter), Jason Collins ( DA WORST Center Ever), and Jerome James (Right Behind Jason Collins as Worst Center). There is so much more to be added like Eddie House (Mark Jackson other day said hes a Premier Shooter in NBA) and Wally Szcerbiak (Masonry for cement feet and brick shots) to name a few more overated scrubs .. But David Stern at One All DAy Airday.

Derek Fisher's flop kept the Warriors from making the playoffs. Worst call I have ever seen.
    • KatKat
      Placard_complete_small
AGREED, Simply. Even though the Warriors inconsistent play, earlier (and down the stretch) in the season, might have had a leeeeetle bit to do with that.

right? let's be real here. that didn't help - but I have a hard time blaming the whole thing on fisher.
I would also put Noah on my punching list.
        • britneyrose
          Placard_complete_small
          Noah...that's for damn sure.

          I 2nd that.
  • SMARTGIRL15
ok first of all Al Horford shouldnt be punched no where stop hating on the gators ok ! an he young so he taunted Paul Pierce a little sooo what paul still got his ring didnt he so leave al alone
  • willydee77
My list includes 4 Pistons; Billups, Hamilton, Wallace and Prince. They all are dirty, they all bitch and moan about EVERY call or on call, there all individually always among the league leaders in Techs. I hate them, and while not on my list Lindsay Hunter and Jason Maxiell are close. So thats 4. The rest in no order are def. Sasha Vujacic, Derek Fisher, Bruce Bowen, Eddie House, Matt Harpring and Al "Baby Artest" Horford
  • kgoon1590
def think joakim noah should go on this list instead of horford, and i'm appalled by the abscence of Sam Cassell
  • JohnPaulsen

Any list like this without Kobe on it has lost all credibility (for me). His incessant complaining, the adolescent wave off when he doesn't get his way and his constant griping at teammates makes him a shoe-in for this list.

Great call on Vujacic though. Jordan Farmar is on the verge of making this list too.

You forgot artest, rodman, iverson, and robert horry
  • MGabriel
i'm an iverson fan, why iverson? he works hard on the offensive end but is even considered easy on the defensive end meaning he hardly defends except for some steals sometimes.. he doesn't gloat like kobe does either, so why is he with artest, rodman & horry in your list?

i can imagine the other 3 guys highlights taking people down but iverson is always the one usually being taken down..

Iverson is rude to the fans... I have seen him make little kids cry over asking for auto... I was at chickie and petes down South Street... Awaitress asked for his auto on a napkin...He tried to have her fired.
    • MGabriel
was this just recently? I really think he has matured since his Philly days, well, I hope he did and things I see him do lead me to believe that he has..

I would punch Shaq in the face, and then get pummeled. But dont care, because I know I would make a dent. :)
