1Kobe Bryant
Ok lets not joke, Kobe is number one sure I am a Lakers fan but the man can just play. Imagine how good he was winning MVP on a torn finger and various injuries. Carrying a team without a true center. Gasol is not a Center he is a power forward.
-
2LeBron James
This kid will eventually over take Kobe once he has his shooting down. You can not help but love his triple double ability and how strong he is. A great player and competitor undebatable whether he is in the top two.
-
3Dwayne Wade
Now im sure I will get alot of criticism for this one. I have guarded Garnett as the number two player up until this year and then LeBron came up and you know what we are gonna see Wade surpass him this year in my rankings. Do you see how he is playing in the Olympics? Spectacular and better than ever expect him to dazzle all this year.
-
4Kevin Garnett
You can make cases for him being higher or lower but let's face it nobody does it better. We all no about his defense and his skills for someone that size is outstanding. He can shoot, dribble, pass, drive and run people over.
-
5Chris Paul
Ok I get how great this kid is. Most people im sure have this kid higher but I am not convinced. Even Jamall Mashburn had one year when he was a great competitor for the MVP, and he certaintly not a top ten NBA player. I expect this young man to move up as well though. He has quickness, speed, dribbling, passing, shooting, driving, and seems like he always knows what will happen next.
-
6Gilbert Arenas
Gil, Agent Zero. Love this guy he is still very young and one of the flashiest guys in the league. Habachi to him, he is great in every way. He is clutch, shoots the lights out, dribbles, passes well, and can score almost at will. Now I can see this guy being higher or lower depending on how big a fan you are of this guy. Am I confident with this pick at 6, no. This year he is gonna be back to Agent Zero and my way gonna average and win more than last year.
-
7Amare Stoudamire
I want to put him higher I just can't. There is no room. This kid is great in every sense of the word. You might think Dwight Howard is better than him but check out his stats. Through the second half of last year all i saw was 35 point efforts. He is the next KG. He blocks, dribbles, shoots, can dish occasionally and has incredible scoring abiltiy and athleticism.
-
8Tim Duncan
I think Amare has surpassed him he is getting old. Originally I did not have him in my top ten but I felt it would be wrong to leave him out. He is a great player I think that it is a lie when people say he is the greatest power forward ever that is definately not right. But he is up there. Tim Duncan is a great in every sense of the word and a winner but I see Superman surpassing him sometime this year, that would be Dwight Howard.
-
9Tracy Mcgrady
Well down to the final two. What more can i say its T-Mac. You can definately make a case for him being lower not sure about much higher. If you watch him when he is on it is just poetry in motion. Everything he does is so graceful and brilliant.
-
10Dirk Nowitski
I know people want him higher some people want other people to break the top ten. You know what he is great and is the best Seven Foot Shooter of all time. But let's face it he does lack some defensive skills and scoring ability. He dribbles great and plays like a small forward. But that is the problem. He is too big for that, we need him to show some strength and get big. He defends like a guard but that aint gonna work on Shaq or Tim Duncan or hell even Andrew Bynum. Show some big in you and play some D with toughness.

I have nothing against Gilbert, but ranking him over Stoudemire and Duncan? I don't know.

Please dont put Gilbert Arenas in any top player discussions. He's overrated, he's a career 42% shooter, can't defend, doesnt have great court vision. Heck he's not even the best player on his own team, Caron Butler is way more all around. GET REAL!!!!

Let's face it i had to put garnett up in the top 5, he is great and won a championship. That counts to me.
I am surprised know one criticized Wade but he is having such a great olympics that he has moved back up to the top.
Gilbert is amazing and if you watch him a full game when he is playing to his regualar abilities then you would see what i mean.
Once again my opinion and any of those guys who just missed the cut could have been in other peoples top ten. Like I said thanx for the comments even though I knew id get criticism. I watch so much sports and research and do everything and from all my sources and looking up this is what I like from 6 down it is not neccesarily in order. The Top 5 is in order from my point of view.

I think that LeBron is always being ranked on his potential and not for what he has accomplished.
