Minneapolis, MN (Sports Network) - The Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday acquired the No. 5 pick in this year's draft, center Etan Thomas, and forwards Darius Songaila and Oleksiy Pecherov from the Washington Wizards in exchange for guards Randy Foye and Mike Miller.

The Spanish star's slide will probably stop in Minnesota, which has the next two picks. The Kings decided to go with the bigger, stronger, more explosive Tyreke Evans, more of a combo guard than a pure point. Rubio's been hyped as one of the best passers in the draft since Jason Kidd. If he lands with the Timberwolves, he'll have two young stud big men to feed in Al Jefferson and Kevin Love.
