Warriors' Pietrus may become a free-agent
TEAMS: Golden State Warriors
PLAYERS: Mickael Pietrus
The Warriors' Mickael Pietrus will become a restricted free agent at the end of this season if the Warriors don't extend his contract by Monday. Pietrus has been, by various accounts, a bust so far after being selected 11th overall in the 2003 draft. He continues to show flashes of brilliance but follows them with inexperience and poor performances. This year will definitely impact his future in the NBA, and the Warriors would be smart to hold off on an extension until after the season.
