TEAMS: Philadelphia 76ers, Detroit Pistons, Golden State Warriors
In a bizarre week of Seinfeldian symmetry, I ran into Matt Barnes at the Adidas Heritage store in Berkeley yesterday. Not one to shy from an improptu interview opportunity, I went up and introduced myself. I had to try and find out something about the Webber to the Warriors rumor. The conversation went about like this.

NBA: Chris Webber close to returning to Warriors
Word around town is that Chris Webber is close to returning to the Golden State Warriors, the official announcement could come out as soon as tomorrow. The Warriors offered to sign the former All-Star for the rest of the season at a pro-rated $1.2 million veteran minimum.
Chris Webber is a Warrior
In a move that has been rumored for days, the Golden State Warriors signed former Sixer Chris Webber. Philly fans are still pissed at Webber after the way he dogged it in his last season with the Sixers and some how magically became effective again when he signed on with the Pistons.
Dubs get past Knicks, await Webber
The Warriors did not play a pretty game against the Knicks but they survived 106-104. Andris Biedrins grabbed 26 boards and Stephen Jackson hit four big fourth quarter threes. Warrior fans also received word that their squad will likely soon be getting former all-star power forward and franchise ruiner Chris Webber.

Do you think he & Nellie can get along?
This is crazy. It wouldn't be terrible to release Troy Hudson & see what happens. I just hope they don't get rid of CJ Watson.
It will be interesting to see how this plays out.
Webber would be the best fit.....if he doesn't come, Nelson/Mullin better have a good plan B.
biedrins needs some help doing all the work down below. i wouldnt worry about his age or weight, look at how great harrington looks after this summer... wowza Al -
