Wednesday Morning NBA Headlines

The Kings have agreed to send Ron Artest to the Rockets in exchange for 2008 first round pick Donte Green, former King Bobby Jackson and a first round pick in 2009.

The guy the Bucks traded Dirk Nowitzki for, Robert "Tractor" Traylor wants back in the league. Though he's currently serving time in a halfway house for preparing a false tax return, Traylor wants to come back and play for the Lakers.

The Italian Montegranaro team wants to bring in Shawn Kemp to play ball. If they can't get Kemp, the team is looking at Vin Baker and Christian Laettner. (Editor's Note: We aren't making this up...but do agree that the post would seem far less ridiculous if it were 1994.)

The Oklahoma City franchise is scheduled to open up at home on October 29.

While Dwayne Wade, LeBron James, Carmelo Anthony and Chris Bosh may or may not constitute the next "Dream Team," the 2008 Olympic squad has made their 2003 draft class look like one of the best ever.
