As The BearDown reported earlier, Chase Budinger will be returning to Tucson for his Junior Season. According to sources close to the situation the fax came in around 2:00 PM Mountain Standard Time announcing his return for the 2008-2009 season. Also we should note that Chase's dad Duncan Budinger wanted Chase to stay in the NBA badly. It's nice to see the young man make a logical desicion even in the face of that kind of opposition, here's hoping that happens on the court next year also....

According to sources close to the situation Arizona G/F Chase Budinger has faxed his official withdrawl from the NBA draft and will return to Arizona for his Junior Season. We are still receiving information from our inside sources but among reasons for his return are the chance to play for Coach Olson another year as well as no Top 15-20 Guarantee.
