Despite J.A. Adande's comparisons of the 2008-09 Los Angeles Lakers and 1993-94 Houston Rockets, I like the Boston Celtics' chances of repeating as NBA champions : The Celtics have picked up right where they left off, and despite losing James Posey in the off-season, their role player corps is more than championship caliber, especially having gone through the winning experience. What I like most about the Celtics' chances is the fact that they have the pre-eminent clutch player in the game in Paul Pierce. Yes, I think Pierce is better than Kobe.
