The Los Angeles Clippers received horrible news when they found out Chauncey Billups will miss the rest of the season due to a torn left Achilles tendon, but is all lost? Sitting atop the Pacific division and possibly ready to make a run deep into the playoffs they need to find a solid replacement. Could Allen Iverson fit the description? Mo Williams, Randy Foye and Eric Bledsoe will be receiving more playing time, but Billups was averaging 14.9 points for the season and you can’t expect any of those three to put up those type of numbers.None of them can replace the leadership Billups brought either, but could the savvy veteran give it one last go to try and win a championship? Most recently an NBA All-Star in 2010 Allen Iverson has been reported to be in talks with Puerto Rico’s professional basketball league. Things haven’t worked out for Iverson as of late and was last seen going to Turkey after leaving the Philadelphia 76ers.
