I can understand Amaré giving up his Foot Locker stripes but not his swag against the Heat on Friday.
Obviously with the NBA back to business, that means the end of players’ moonlighting escapades. AMARÉ STOUDEMIRE had to grudgingly turn in his stripes and give up his position at Foot Locker as a result recently. Here’s how things went…
Judging by Friday night’s Knicks-Heat contest, Stoudemire may have been a bit too hasty in retiring from his shoe job. Amaré shot a poultry 5-for-14 in scoring just 12 points in his showdown with Dwyane Wade, LeBron James and the Heat as Miami booted the Knicks, 99-89. Not the epitome of swag…you think???
Stoudemire, who mentioned earlier that he and his Knicks were “going hunting in Miami”, apparently brought a pop gun to a gunfight. Dude scored his first bucket with 1:17 left in the first half.
Maybe it would have helped if he had his main hunting dawg, Carmelo Anthony, with him Friday night.
LeBron James had another solid night Tuesday night against his old team. James scored 18 points, five rebounds and five assists on 8-for-21 shooting in the Heat's 92-85 win. It was a relatively quiet night for James this season considering he is averaging 28.9 points per game, 6.8 rebounds per game and 7.1 assists per game. Just ridiculous stats, and he is the early leader for...
LeBron James scored 31 points, Dwyane Wade scored 28 in his return from a sprained right ankle, and the Miami Heat beat the 3-point-obsessed New York Knicks 99-89 on Friday night.
Chris Bosh scored 13 points and James finished with eight rebounds and seven assists for Miami, which plays host to Chicago on Sunday in a rematch of last season's Eastern Conference finals.

Say what you will about Lebron James but this is what makes him incredible and likable in a pure basketball aspect. Name me five players all time who could do this? I just feel bad for John, but at least he is in the NBA right.
The Knicks decided real basketball was for the birds, and started launching a monsoon of treys. That might work against some teams, but not Miami, especially when Dwyane Wade is healthy and cooking. With Carmelo Anthony sitting out, the Heat weathered a random Bill Walker night (21 points, all on treys) and a bunch of [...]
The Miz sat down with Metro in a “no holds barred” interview to discuss the Royal Rumble, idols, music, his reality television background, the best thing he ever received from a fan and more. When asked who he would choose to face at WrestleMania if it could be anyone, he replied NBA star LeBron James.
“I’m from Cleveland, Ohio. LeBron said he was going to bring an NBA...
